Take a walkthrough an old time memories journey with the help of my Arduino project that was designed to rejuvenate the famous theme song from Super Mario Brothers. Having been inspired to reconstruct the beloved game on real ground due to the sweet memories of saving Princess Peach by jumping from one barrier to another.

With the help of an Arduino microcontroller and a buzzer, I took the game’s famous melody and made it into a combination of notes and lengths. The moment I clicked upload on the code, and then connected the buzzer at pin 9 in Arduino, the Super Mario Bros was very distinct in the building.

This project was a trip down memory lane more than an intricate technical feat. When I fine-tuned the melody, or tried different arrangements, I felt as if I were transferred back into the magical environment of the Mushroom Kingdom which is filled with wonderful memories of achieving goals and celebrating wins”.

It was such a great joy when I shared this project with friends, family and fellow gaming enthusiasts; indeed the smiles on their faces as they listened to the Super Mario Bros Theme song narrated what a timeless classic that could not only be enjoyed through generations but also across different cultures.

In the world of high definition graphics and flavor virtual reality, the only thing that refreshes us about the simplicity of a 8-bit music coming out from a mere buzzer is the euphoria we must always seek. This project is a sincere homage to Super Mario Bros., a game that has kept millions of people inspired and entertained for years.
