Radio Chthulucene 87.9 FM

Now that the project is over, I feel a great sense of relief. There were many iterations of it during the creative process but I managed to settle on one. Despite all the complications of the project, we all managed to do it and I’m glad we were able to resolve everything. And so many people produced such great pieces. From the individual workshops to now, everybody put a lot of work into their projects and that was clear after listening to them. I hope everyone was able to enjoy listening to the different voices in our class. I appreciate anyone that took the time to listen to my project, especially since I chose a location that was pretty far from the center of campus. I also want to thank all of our project partners from the Visual Arts class. Thank you for making the time to make our radio stations, despite having your own radio projects to attend to. There was a lot of miscommunications, but we overcame them and I am just glad we were all able to get it done. Good luck to everybody in their finals. Let’s all finish the quarter strong.

I want to also say a special thank you to our professors who organized this project. It was definitely a different experience and made the course more interesting than I was initially anticipating.
