Radio Chthulucene 87.9 FM

PREFACE * – I wrote these entires a while ago but I submitted while at my job that has the worst service ever so apparently they didn’t go through. My apologies !

Last week I didn’t get to do my in-person workshop but I believe this week we will do both groups of workshops on Wednesday. I did get to read through the comments that were left in the discussion post so that was very helpful already. From what I saw in the comments I think I need to expand my piece a bit more. I wish I could have figured out a way to get pieces of the audio on the discussion board because I think that would have clarified my pacing of the piece a lot more. I might need to work on the structure or flow of my piece as I saw a few comments on that as well. I will wait until after Wednesday’s class to fully decide what feedback I want to include when reworking on my project. I don’t really want to do much work on the visual structure of my piece though. The project is mainly focused on the audio portion of the work so I don’t see the point in changing the page layout. Maybe I’m wrong though ?? 

Last week we looked at “Twerk” by LaTasha Diggs. I read this piece a few quarters ago in my writing theory class with Anna Joy Springer. I remember reading the piece called Anime ?? I think ? I don’t remember right now but I’m pretty sure it was that one. I luckily still had access to some of her poems from the pdf I downloaded. I really liked her piece called “ Blind Date”. I feel like it encapsulates every “bad” dating show there is right now. I could envision it being played on MTV. Her works are very inspiring as the words she chooses to include paint such a vivid picture of whatever theme or moment she is reflecting on.
