”Jasmine“ by Hanling Wang

My project was inspired by the jasmine flowers that were grown at home during my childhood. Every summer, the flowering season of jasmine in San Diego fills the air with its fragrance, bringing back memories of my past. I chose the melody of the Chinese folk song “Jasmine Flower,” a song my grandmother used to sing to me. From this song, I recall past events and my family.

“No flower in the garden is as fragrant as it, No flower in the snow is as white as it“
